More successful beginner trainees are swelling our membership

"Most of our new members join us with no experience of sailing," says Senior Instructor, Robert Dangerfield as six adults and three juniors have completed their RYA Level 1 and Stage 1 Start to Sail courses in a three-day course at Llangorse Sailing Club.

"It demonstrates the strong appetite in the community to learn to learn to sail, and how our Club will look forward to strengthen its training capacity and continue to support new beginner-members," Robert adds. 

"Immediately, many of these trainees have taken advantage of our Development Days, in which they can (thanks to having taken part in LSC training) continue to use Llangorse Sailing Club training boats with instructor-support on specific days."

As the 2026 training season approaches its end, the Club will start planning its training calendar for 2027.

"Huge thanks to all our instructors and helpers who deliver the course," Robert concludes.
